Our worship services are varied in both content and style without compromising the Christian message.
Christian teaching is shared in a down-to-earth, easy to understand way.
We enjoy a variety of musical participation alongside singing of old and new songs (hymns).
The emphasis of our worship is to deepen our personal faith in Jesus Christ.
Do I have to wear a uniform?
In short, NO. Uniforms are worn by those members who have made a full commitment to become 'soldiers' of The Salvation Army.
However, uniform is not a requirement of becoming a 'soldier'. There are many people who do not wear a uniform but have chosen to make The Salvation Army their church.
What kind of people attend The Salvation Army?
The simple answer is everyone and anyone can attend The Salvation Army.
We have people from all parts of society and the world.
Some of our members are students, teachers, bankers, gardeners, labourers, housewives and some are unemployed.
We have families who have been in The Salvation Army for many generations and we have people who have only just started attending.
Can anyone attend?
Absolutely, YES! The Salvation Army knows no barriers of race, education, social position or age.
Everyone is welcome. If you want to be involved, we want you to be involved.
We will not pressurise you in any way.
